Immersing yourself in the Selvaggio Blu means living 6 days of trekking on the border between crystal-clear sea and wild mountains, overcoming the roughness of the terrain with spectacular abseils and technical passages, then recharging at the end of the day with a swim in the blue waters!
It’s considered the most difficult trek in Europe because the trail is unmarked and gets lost in the Mediterranean scrub among wild animal tracks; the terrain is rocky, some sections are very exposed, and it requires sure-footedness and balance. The route includes technical passages on rock that our Guide will secure with a fixed rope! You’ll go up and down the legendary Scalones (wooden ladders built by shepherds), and do spectacular abseils into caves or over the sea!
We always sleep near the sea to enjoy a swim at the beginning and end of the day, and to see the sun rise from the waters in the early morning! After an aperitif by the sea with an Ichnusa beer, pecorino cheese, pane carasau, and Sardinian cured meats, we light a fire, prepare dinner, and enjoy the infinite stars!
Selvaggio Blu is the perfect adventure holiday for those who can’t choose between sea and mountains, for those who want to make new friends and share both the discomforts and joys of outdoor life, and take a dip in some of Europe’s most beautiful beaches: Cala Goloritzè, Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriala, Cala Sisine! A must-do at least once in your life!

Accommodation
We will spend the first night at a typical Cuile (Sardinian sheepfold), and then camp every day near the sea. The camping areas are regulated and limited by an ordinance from the Municipality of Baunei to protect the area. They are booked in advance and reserved for us! All bivouacs are planned near a beach to enjoy a swim in the evening and the colors of the sunrise! You can sleep with a sleeping pad and sleeping bag, or set up your own tent. In the late afternoon, we receive personal luggage at the bivouac area via a logistics agency, which comes back in the morning for pickup. We may change bivouac locations in case of rough sea or bad weather: in this case, they’ll be moved inland, and supplies delivered by 4x4 vehicles.

Please note, the group tour will be canceled if the minimum number of participants (6) is not reached one month prior to the scheduled date. In such cases, you can choose to convert your booking to a private tour, postpone to another group date in the future, or receive a refund.
