Description

El Chaltén is one of the most unexplored areas of Patagonia Sur. This tour is your chance to discover some of its breathtaking spots and enjoy a full day of ski touring: join me!

Located in Santa Cruz Province, in southwestern Argentina, El Chalten is a beautiful and charming mountain village. Lying at the foot of the mountains, it offers easy access to lots of mountains, glaciers and forests. It is visited by tourists from all over the world during the entire year.

What I am offering is a ski touring full-day outing in the surroundings of El Chalten. According to the snow conditions, your skills and wishes, we can go to the mounts of Fitz Roy, Madsen, Torre, o Vespignani. The valleys of Mosquito and Crestón are also on the menu!

After climbing to reach the best hidden spots, we will enjoy awesome powder descents. We also have the chance to explore impressive glacier terrains or to try some tree skiing. Keep in mind that you should have at least intermediate skiing skills, and a good fitness level (we’ll need to carry our skis during the ascent).

So, if you want to experience a thrilling ski touring day, please get in touch with me. Come to El Chalten and enjoy climbing and skiing in a unique alpine scenery!

Mountain Guide

IFMGA/UIAGM guide from Argentina.

I’m trekking guide since 2009, and became fully IFMGA certified in 2014.
I’ve climbed in many destinations in the Andes in Argentina, and also in Perú, Brasil, France, Spain, Italy and Austria.

I work together with two other colleagues and friends, Indio and Tomás, who are also IFMGA. So if I’m not available to guide you, one of them can do it.

The three of us live in El Chalten, where we practice our profession and develop our passion for climbing and skiing. And we want to share it by opening the doors to all those who want to live their Patagonian experience in a safe and unforgettable way.

We are also committed to mountain training. Therefore, we can give you the basic tools to move in the mountain safely and smoothly. That's why we offer courses for all levels depending on the terrain you want to train. We give lessons of rock climbing, ice climbing, glacier transit and mountain skiing.
