Is this activity new for you? Or are you an experienced rock climber? It doesn’t matter! I’ll be happy to show you the exotic routes of Slovenia and its ¨Stone Giants¨.
You can explore about 350 routes with a wide variety of grades here in Bled, north Slovenia. Some of the bests crags in the region are here and I will show you the best of it, as I´ve been climbing in this area since I was a kid.
This Slovenia 1/2-day guided rock climbing adventure will amaze you. It is a really fun activity and the surroundings are unique, because we will have Mount Triglav’s peak behind us (2,863m high) and a beautiful lake where we can relax after all the hard work!
The ideal time to climb in Slovenia is between May and October. Just choose a date and bring your kids, family or friends, no matter how experienced they are, because there are routes for beginners and for the expert ones too.
It’s fun, it’s safe and it’s a great sport to be in contact with nature. Furthermore, Slovenia is an ideal location for its practice! Please find below an estimate itinerary of the program.
First, I will pick you up and drive for about 15 minutes to the chosen location. Upon arrival, I will give you a briefing with safety instructions and check your equipment.
Then, we’ll start the amazing climbing! The climbing itself takes 3.5-4 hours. And to end this great adventure, we’ll stop at a lake close by to refresh.
So, are you looking for a real climbing adventure? Come to Slovenia and let´s climb up!

About the Guide
I grew up in Slovenia with Julian Alps as my backyard. Expeditions to Himalaya started when I was 17, started steep skiing at 15, climbing big walls at 13 and it was a natural progression to BASE jump and to become a mountain guide- a job that feeds my soul. I have been to several climbing expeditions to Peru, Kyrgyzstan, Tibet, Nepal and India.
I'm an IFMGA qualified mountain guide as well as an instructor for future guides, ski instructor, certified helicopter operator and a Heli Ski guide. Although my work took me all over the world my favorite place is still in the Julian Alps. Sharing the hidden places in my Home Mountains with my clients, guiding and teaching them to explore on their own is has been my biggest passion for the past few years.
Mountains are my passion. Winter or summer, climbing, flying through the air or skiing, it doesn't matter to me if I am guiding or having fun with friends. I simply get spaced out when I am in the mountains. Guiding for me is not a job - it is a state of mind and a lifestyle.
