Description

Regardless if you are a beginner to rock climbing who is just starting, or an expert who has been climbing for years, there is always room for improvement. There is always new techniques and skills to learn. As a result, I believe this 2-day  aid climbing workshop will help you in any ambitions you may have to be a better climber. Moreover, this course takes place in the beautiful Grands Malades and Freyr in Belgium.

Some of what we will be covering during this aid climbing course includes placement of moving points of progression, including nuts and pitons. We will also cover progression on stirrups, estimation of the reliability of anchors, relays on unstable anchors and much more. Thus helping you improve on the skills you may already have, while also teaching you some new ones as well.

All participants on this trip should be able to climb autonomously. It is also important to be in good physical condition.

Rock climbing is a fantastic source of exercise. It provides great views and gives participants an unmatched thrill. However, it is crucial to know how to do it properly and to constantly search for ways to improve. Hence why this 2-day aid climbing workshop at Grands Malades is so beneficial. Super ! Nous avons passé une excellente après-midi avec Willy ! Nous avons eu des conseils et des recommandations pour pouvoir continuer la pratique de via ferrata. Je recommande vivement cette expérience

We had a very exciting day with Willy! We had never done a via ferrata before and did Pont-a-Lesse and Marche-les-Dames in one day. Willy explained the different techniques very well and adapted to our wishes and the circumstances perfectly. Gauthier adviced us in the beginning correctly that Marche-les-Dames would be better for us than Les-Grandes-Malades in terms of difficulty. Overall we were very happy with the choice, spend a great day outdoors and can definitely recommend this adventure!

We had a really fantastic day of bouldering in Fontainebleau with our guide Ivan. He is very experienced and knows the region well. He showed us great boulders and routes that we would not have found on our own, and kept a good pace to keep us going for the full six hours.
