Get ready for an unforgettable experience to the impressive Tatio Geysers, Chile. This one-day hike in San Pedro de Atacama will fascinate all outdoor lovers. Come with me to explore this beautiful place in the Chilean Andes, close to the Bolivian border.
Our chosen destination is the third largest geyser field, with almost 80 active geysers. Its name, Tatio, comes from the native word oven. This is a phenomenon you want to witness.
For this hike, we'll leave very early in the morning from San Pedro and hike to the geothermal field, at 4.300 meters above sea level, to enjoy the best sunrise you'll ever see. This place offers a fantastic view of the whole Tatio Geysers, including vents and boiling water sources. We'll enjoy breakfast on the top. We'll also be able to visit the thermal pool and the Machuca town, where we'll be able to try the delicious local cuisine.
So book your trip now and get ready for a unique hike to one of Chile's most beautiful places. I would love to be your guide on this adventure.
I offer other hikes in Chile, as well. If you are looking for more options, be sure to check out the ones I offer to Quebrada del Nacimiento, Las Cornisas, RÃo Salado and others.

About lead guide, Christian Fernandez:
I’m originally from Argentina, but live in Chile since 1998. Now I’m settled in the north of Chile, in San Pedro de Atacama, beautiful town in the heart of the Andean section of the dry Atacama dessert.
From there I organize many expeditions to beautiful peaks on a weekly basis. I’ve done more than 300 high altitude ascents, and more than 25 peaks over 6000 metres.
I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
