Description

Join me for a trip around the most beautiful places for trekking in Honshu, the main island of Japan. We’ll be traversing many spots near Mount Fuji (3776 m), like Kamakura, Hakone, Izu, Minobu and Misaka.

These breathtaking landscapes have inspired the Ukiyo-e, the traditional japanese paintings, realized by Katsushika Hokusai.

Each day we’ll walk from 4 to 6 hours, and go from one place to another by train or car. This will let us to enjoy the best places of this area only in a few days.

Besides, we can adapt the program according to the available time you have in Japan. Actually, we can also mix this tour with the ascent of Mount Fuji.

Mount Fuji area is probably one of the most beautiful places of Japan. I strongly recommend you to go there if you have few days to spent near Tokyo. Furthermore, leaving with a Japanese guide will enable you to visit the right spots and learn about our culture.

If you are interested in this adventure adventure that mixes hiking and cultural sightseeing, please contact me. It will be my pleasure to guide and take care of you during this short trip.

We had a brilliant couple of days with Jun. At a difficult time in not the best season for Hokkaido, Jun was able to sniff out unexpected powder stashes and we skied some great snow! Really nice guy as well!

Jun is an outstanding guide, a true expert in his field. He was attentive to our needs and desires and very ably provided us with a fantastic experience skiing in the Asahikawa area backcountry. I will book other trips with him and highly recommend him to others!

Jun did an incredible job guiding us through Daisetsuzan National Park. He was attentive, friendly and courteous. His knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and landscape was superb (that rock garden in particular left a deep impression on me). His cooking was superb. And, we felt like we experienced aspects of the Japanese outdoors and culture that are very hard to reach. Andy and I had a phenomenal time.

Jun was a very safe and knowledgeable guide for our one day skiing trip for Yotei. He knew lots about the snowpack and the local wildlife and trees. We felt safe the entire time and really appreciated the pace he went at. Would recommend!
