The Bieszczady Mountains are the most remote mountains in Poland, and for this reason, they are often referred to as « the end of the world ». This beautiful subrange of the Carpathians boasts awe-inspiring landscapes and is home to wild animals such as black storks, brown bears, wolves, and bison. Furthermore, the region has historically been inhabited by many different tribes and people and is an interesting place to experience the local culture.
On this four day adventure, we will visit a different part of the range each day. Every day we will hike an average of 7-8 hours for approximately 17km. You can find a detailed itinerary below.

In one of the villages in Bieszczady, the most probably in Kalnica or Smerek. They are easily reachable by public transport. We will meet at the bus stop and go at first together to the place we will sleep.
We will meet in one of the villages (probably in Kalnica or Smerek). We will go to Połonina Wetlińska with a descent to Wetlina. About 6h trek with about 700 m of altitude change.
We start our hike in Wetlina and through a beautiful, wild forest, we will reach Rabia Skała and following the main ridge we will head to Krzemienic (the point where three borders meet) and through Wielka and Mała Rawka we will descend to Wetlina.
We will start in Wołosate ( the last polish village before the Ukrainian border). Then we will follow the valley of Wołosate until the beautiful peaks of Rozsypaniec and Halicz where we will admire the famous mountain meadows of Bieszczady. On the way down, we will go up Tarnica- the highest pick of Bieszczady and go down to Wetlina.
We will start our trek in Ustrzyki Górne and through a beautiful mountain meadow, Szeroki Wierch, we will once again reach the highest top of Bieszczady and continue through the panoramic Bukowe Berdo and descend in the northern part of Wołosaty Valley.
I am UIMLA Beskidy Mountain Guide based in Poland where I lead guided trips, in addition to offering programs in the Alps, the Caucasus Mountains and in Central Asia.
I have spent the last 15 years following my passion of exploring mountains around the world, and have turned this passion into a regular job which allows me to share with my clients everything I have learnt. I am constantly improving my mountaineering skills to ensure the safety and comfort of my clients. Additionally, I continue to explore remote mountain regions, especially in Asia where tourism is not yet common.
Long trekking tours are my specialty, and are the best way to experience the majesty of the mountains and the beauty of nature.
Join me on an unforgettable adventure and let me show you some of the most breathtaking mountains in the world!
