Description

The Rysy mountain (2,503m) is a fantastic and unique peak in the High Tatras mountain range. The highest mountain in the entire Tatra range, Rysy’s uniqueness comes from its three summits, as two of them, the middle (2,503m) and the south-eastern (2,473m), are in Slovakia, while the other one, the north-western summit (2,499m), is in Poland, and that one also happens to be the highest summit in the country!

On this all day hike, you will get the chance to trek to the top of the Rysy mountain. Thus giving you the opportunity to gaze into two completely different nations. During this adventure, you will also get to enjoy unforgettable views of the other peaks standing tall in the High Tatras, as well as the valleys and landscape below.

The climb to the top of the Rysy peak will not be easy. As a result, participants should be in good physical condition. Also, it is important that you have prior mountain trekking experience as well.

Despite the difficulties that will arise during this all day journey, the climb is truly exhilarating. There is also the lovely Chata pod Rysmi mountain chalet (2,250m) that you can stop at as well. This place is the perfect spot for a bit of rest before reaching the top of the Rysy, and it also provides a wonderful position for memorable photos as well.

Trekking to the top of a peak that is the highest in a mountain range, as well as being the highest in a country, is an experience you will never forget. So send me a request, and let me guide you to the top of the Rysy peak. I know you’ll have a great time.

I also lead this full day hiking tour through the Baranie Sedlo in the High Tatras as well.

Great trek with a highly qualified and friendly guide. The hike was quite challenging and would have taken us longer to reach the summit then anticipated but despite not making it to the top we had a fabulous experience with great scenery and views. Would recommend booking with Peter, a real pro.

I am not a strong mountain hiker, and need many small breakes during ascending. Peter was very patient and controlling the pace very well. We were relatively lucky with the comfortable weather, and saw both wild life and beautiful High Tatras and Rysy Summit. Peter is very experienced guide and mountain rescuer, he cares these mountains dearly. You will be in good hands hiking with him. I had a wonderful day and would do it again!
