Trekking “El Solitario” trail, near Puerto Varas (Half-day)

If you’re looking for an outdoor activity in a fantastic area, you can’t miss this chance. Come with me on this half-day program and cross El Solitario trail, in the southern side of the Osorno Volcano, near Puerto Varas.

Located in the Chilean Andes, in the region of Los Lagos, Osorno Volcano is a stratovolcano that shows beautiful natural landscapes from Patagonia. It belongs to the Vicente Rosales National Park and it’s a great area to enjoy hiking and different sportive activities.

On our itinerary, we’ll depart at 9 am and enjoy trekking in El Solitario trail for 5 hours. During the hike, we’ll get to see outstanding views from the surrounding mountains, lakes and forests. A beautiful natural spot that we’ll find on the way will be Petrohué River.

Although the difficulty of this program is not high, take into account that there may be wind and rain in the volcano. So, it’s important to have a good level of fitness.
