Two-Day Climbing Traverse on Domes de Miage

Follow me to the top of Domes de Miage and spend two days on an incredible mountaineering program! See some of the best views the Alps have to offer while traversing summit after summit!

The Domes de Miage (3,673m) are a chain of peaks rising in the Mont Blanc massif. The mountains are known for their stunning beauty, and have a distinguishing arete that extends over three kilometers along the summits. From the exposed ridge, looking to the northeast provides a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc.

The trip features rock and ice climbing, and is perfect for mountaineers who are looking for a picturesque backdrop to gain experience. Alpine meadows add to the aesthetics, and we can expect some moderate glacier traversing. The most notable and unforgettable part of the program will be the climb along the exposed ridge.

With multiple mountains to summit, our classic program will take two days.  Departing from Contamines-Montjoie, we will head to Le Refuge des Conscrits and stay overnight. The following day will include more traversing, and feature Aiguille de la Berangere its remarkable peak.

The trip does not require a significant amount of technical climbing, though you  should be in good shape to undertake the expedition. Any previous mountaineering experience is beneficial.
