This hiking day is dedicated for the ones who want to discover the beautiful Vallée de la Semois in the Ardennes and the amazing region of Bouillon. You'll be guided by Philippe a local hiking guide in love with the area where he is from.

Description

La Semois is one of the most beautiful rivers of Wallonia and you’ll get the chance to see part of it during this hiking day with me. We’ll also pass in the area of beautiful villages like Bouillon, Chiny, Herbeumont and Rochehaut.

We’ll start our hike from the Village of Herbeumont, a beautiful historical town with a medieval castle. From the top, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking view on the region and La Semois flowing down in the valley.

During our day, aside for the Castle, we’ll be visiting le Tombeau du Géant, another stunning view point and La Vallée de l’Antrogne.

This hiking day is not technical but you must be fit as we will be trekking for for 6-7 hours and go up and down the valley. We’ll be mainly walking in the forest.

Join me alone, together with your friends and/or your family and discover one of the most beautiful part of les Ardennes in the Luxembourg Province of Belgium. It will be my great pleasure to share with you my secret spots and let you discover all you need to know before driving back home.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
