Would you like to enjoy a full day outdoors in the stunning island of Madeira? Then come with me on this adventure in Vereda do Larano, a levada that connects Machico with Porto da Cruz.

On this 1-day program, we’ll start our hike in Machico and follow the ancient trail to Porto da Cruz. On the way, we’ll reach an altitude of 350 meters and get to see the ocean. We’ll contemplate fantastic views of the island’s north coast and enjoy incredible natural surroundings. In addition, we’ll cross beautiful streams and have the chance to spot some of the lovely local birds.

As we get closer to Porto da Cruz, the difficulty of the trail will increase. The hike has a duration of 3-4 hours and an extension of 12 kilometers. Also, we’ll walk through narrow sections with cliffs and spots located at a dizzy height. Therefore, keep in mind it’s very important to have a good level of fitness for this program.

So, are you ready for an exciting adventure? Then get in touch with me by sending the request to book your place. I’m sure you’ll love hiking across this fantastic trail in Madeira.
