My name is Guillaume. I am a certified Rock Climbing Instructor in the Calanques, offering guided tours from Marseille to Cassis and everywhere in Provence.

I have been passionate about climbing since I was I child. I was initiated very early into climbing thanks to the mountain club of my hometown, Villemur sur Tarn, a small village in the south west of France. I had my first classes on the rock of Saint Antonin Noble Val, in the gorges of Aveyron.

During a trip with friends, I discovered Marseille and especially its national park. The beauty of the landscapes, the sun, the sea, and the endless number of climbing routes totally seduced me! After a year already planned in Quebec, I decided to validate my university degree in computer science. I applied to the last year of Computer Master at the Faculty of Luminy and moved to Marseille.

My passion for climbing became my profession a few years later, following a professional reconversion. More than 10 years later, I still live close to this beautiful area that is the Calanques and climbing in all its forms remains forever a passion.

Guillaume was great! Felt just like going climbing with a friend. He was able to suggest a nice classic route that was shaded all morning on Cap Cainalle and due to his knowledge of the area and route we climbed efficiently, finishing six pitches with time to spare before the sun hit the wall. We climbed Deux Vauriens Troits Canailles, I found the route to be classic with sustained climbing around 6a on all but one pitch, well protected, and due to the nature of the cliff allows one to experience limestone, sandstone, and conglomerate, and interesting rock and features including a roof, cave, and chimney. 5

Guillaume was amazing! Very friendly, helpful, and encouraging. Chose a great route for my skill level and was a pleasure to climb with! Luckily didn't need any help or anything, but could tell he was very prepared for anything to go wrong.5
