I am a JMGA mountain and ski guide. I started guiding in Hokkaido in 2003. I mainly guide Split boarding in Niseko, Sapporo, and Asahidake areas in wintertime. And I guide Hiking and Climbing in Daisetsuzan, Shiretoko, and Rishiri in Summer time. I want to introduce nature, culture, and local food in Hokkaido.

Katsuhiro is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide. He knew where we could get some good ski lines even though conditions were not awesome. I could see he was Constantly evaluating conditions and snow and safety along the way. He’s been doing this for over 20 years. He knows Hokkaido. If you want to support local guides and just get out and ski this is the way to go!
