A certified Mountain Leader and a member of the Greek Mountain Leader Association (HMLA). An experienced mountaineer, having attained several courses by the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering & Climbing and also an active trail runner, having participated and finished some well established endurance/ultra races (UTMB, TDS, CCC). Speaks fluent English, has a BLS/AED first aid certification, and also holds a Master’s and Bachelor degree in Marketing and Business Administration.

Stavros is a gem. He was an excellent guide from start to finish. He communicated with me regularly and effectively from the moment I made the reservation. He was helpful and provided useful information in advance of the hike. During the hike, he was a great source of information about Mount Olympus, and all the nuances of the course we would take. He took good care of me from the moment we met and until the very end when he dropped me off at my car. During the hike he made sure we maintained a great pace and exercised an appropriate level of caution to keep us both safe throughout. I cannot say enough good things about him and of the entire experience. I would make this hike with Stavros again and recommend the hike to any and all who want to visit the gods.

What an amazing trip. It was truly an experience I will never forget and always cherish. The whole trip went exactly according to the itinerary. Stavros is not only very professional but also a wonderful person to spend time with. I had never climbed a mountain before and Stavros made me feel very safe and his instructions were always clear and to the point. I learned a lot from the experience and will without a doubt do it again. Mt Olympus is simply sublime. It is a challenge to make it to Mytikas but with Stavros' guidance it is attainable and well worth the sore legs after. Thank you so much!!!!

Stavros was a really good guide. He had a lot to share, was happy to answer our questions and chat with us. He was always positive, smiling and helpful. He took a lot of great pictures and videos from the hike, which we can look back at. He made us feel very safe and comfortable the whole way through and he listened to and fulfilled all of our wishes. We had an experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives thanks to stavros! We would definitely recommend everyone to book stavros for your next hike to the top of greece!
