Description

This 1-day hike to Comino Bivouac in Val Ferret will take you up the mountain through an incredible path!

The Comino Bivouac (2430 m) seems like an impossible place to get when you look at it from Arnouva village (1769 m), our starting point. But our guides know the way as the back of their hands and they will take you up through a spinning trail.

Your adventure will start in Courmayeur at 8 am, where you’ll meet one of our highly trained guides and take a transfer to the small Arnouva village in Val Ferret. From here you’ll start your way up on the Triolet Glacier moraine. Then you’ll turn right into a steep slope full of rhododendron, where few know how to find the way through.

This is not a long or extremely hard program, it has only 660 meters of altitude gain, and can be completed in 4 or 5 hours. But it’s important to follow the guide, because it’s very easy to lose the trail and get stuck.

So, don’t hesitate about it, send us a request for this 1-day hike to Comino Bivouac in Val Ferret and we’ll put together this great day out for you!

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
