Description

Do you want to hike in a beautiful alpine scenery during three days, sleeping in charming mountain huts? You should try this 3-day hiking trip in the Heilbronner Circule Trail of the Allgäu Alps.

The Allgäu Alps are located in Bavaria (Germany) and Tyrol and Vorarlberg (Austria). These mountains shoot up from the foothills so abruptly that the impact is really imposing. They offer a huge and varied terrain for hiking and mountaineering.

The Heilbronner is one of the most popular mountain trails in the Allgäu Alps. Its beautiful ridges has been delighting hikers for generations. You will enjoy enchanting views of the area, with flower-strewn meadows, glittering lakes and majestic rock faces.

This high altitude tour begins hiking up to Einödsbach, an ancient village located at 1,114 m. of altitude, which is the southernmost spot of Germany. The following days we will head up to Heilbronn Tröll, crossing over the peaks of Steinscharten (2,615 m) and Bockkarkopf (2,609 m). Finally, we will descent through the wild Bacherloch back to Einödsbach.

This region has some of the most comfortable alpine huts of the Alps. We will eat excellent local food and sleep warm in Rappensee and the new Waltenberger Haus.

We will walk in partially trackless terrain, soy you need to be at least an intermediate hiker.  There are several exposed areas, secured with ropes or chains, where you will need your hands for balance.

So, if you are up for a high altitude hike in the popular Heilbronn Trail, please contact me! I’ll be glad to guide you through the amazing landscapes of the Allgäus Alps!
