Description

Nestled above the stunning shores of Lake Garda at the foot of the Italian Alps, Arco is home to some world-class rock climbing!

Over the course of three days, we will explore as much of the great rocky crags and pitches that we can!

If you have previous experience climbing in a gym or on simple rock climbing routes, then this trip is perfect for you.

After meeting up in the lovely little town of Arco di Trento, we will spend our first day together going over all of the basic techniques as well as how to belay in preparation for the next two days.

These days will be the highlight of the trip as we start out with some crag climbing on the second day. This will soon transition into a bit of lead sport climbing, belaying and toprope building, before we finish off the day with abseiling.

On the final day, we will head out and put all of these newly acquired skills to the test, making various ascents and enjoying the stunning views that we will find all around us.

Mountain Guide

Born in the Austrian Alps, the connection to the mountains was there from early on. Started skiing as a 3 year old kid, bit later climbing and mountaineering stepped in my live. Skiing and climbing all over the Alps and abroad became a huge part of my life.

One of my favorite places in the Alps are the mountains around Chamonix and Zermatt. Since graduating as a fully-certified Mountain guide, I’ve been able to share my passion for skiing and climbing with my guests. When I’m not guiding I try to push my personal limits in climbing and mountaineering. Looking forward reaching summits together.

Daniel is a phenomenal climbing guide. Our trip was a 1-day multipitch climb in the Hochkönig region. Daniel expresses a lifetime of experience in the region and is extremely knowledgeable about the routes and rock. Given it was our first multipitch/alpine/Austria experience, Daniel provided a safe and thorough climbing experience: reviewing gear, technique, and uniquely helpful beta. We could not have asked for a better day in the mountains and climbed on some of the coolest limestone features we have ever been on. Definitely a new high point for us.
