Description

Situated in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, on the western flank of the mighty Colorado Rockies, Telluride is the perfect starting point for an epic 3-day wilderness ski touring adventure!

Instead of heading to the heavily-populated resorts and waiting in line for chair lifts, we will head out deep into the backcountry.

Each day, we'll have the freedom to explore the various mountains and valleys around Telluride, enjoying phenomenal views of the San Juans, while skiing down steep slopes covered in plentiful, high-quality powder.

Each evening, we will return to a cozy mountain hut, where we can enjoy a nice hot sauna and unwind as we prepare to do it all over again the following day.

This trip is perfectly suited for fit intermediate and advanced ski tourers looking to escape into the backcountry for a few days.

Depending on mountain hut availability, we will tailor the perfect itinerary to suit your wants and needs in this incredible part of the state.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
