Come and visit Plaza Argentina, one of the main base camps in the East Face route to the Aconcagua summit**,** in Mendoza.
The Aconcagua (6,962 meters) is the highest mountain in the Western and Southern Hemispheres. Climbers from all over the world come to reach its majestic summit.
We’ll start our tour in the City of Mendoza. I can pick you up at the airport or bus station if you need it.
During these 6 days we will go across the Vacas Valley and visit three different base camps of the mountain: Pampa de Leñas (2,950 meters), Casa de Piedra (3,240 meters) and Plaza Argentina (4,190 meters). As you can see, we will be gradually getting higher as the trek progresses.
Some of the wonders you will see during this trek are the Polish Glacier and the East Face of the Aconcagua. What’s more exciting is that at the end of the tour we will return from Plaza Argentina to the trailhead flying in a private helicopter!
Please find a more detailed itinerary below and remember that you’ll need a good level of fitness to join this trek.
