Follow me on this 7 days adventure to reach the summit of Europe’s most famous mountain.
Due to its unique look, so close to a pyramid-shape, the Matterhorn is known as Cervino or the king of the mountains. Its mythical summit, is definitely one of the most famous symbols of Switzerland and Italy. It is simply an emblematic ascent you cannot miss!
To stand at the top of this colossus, we’ll use the Lion route in Cervinia, Italy. Also, in order to accomplish this goal, we’ll be climbing the Monte Rosa peak, using the italian route as well.
The first three days we’ll tackle the summit of Monte Rosa. So we acclimatize and practice our mountaineering skills. Then, on the fourth day we will start climbing the Matterhorn, departing from Cervinia. First, we’ll climb to the Carrel Refuge and follow the Lion’s Ridge until we stand a the summit, where the views will simply be breathtaking.
Please note this is a complex ascent. Therefore you will need to have an excellent level of fitness as well as technical skills. And, since the weather may change, or due to any other unforeseen circumstances, we may have to change our itinerary. But I will be with you the whole ascent, making sure you are safe and have a great time.
So if you are up for this challenge, just send me a request. I promise it will be a wonderful mountaineering adventure you won’t be able to forget.

Mountain Guide (UIAGM) from Catalonia
I’m a mountain and canyoning guide. I live close to Barcelona, but enjoy exploring new detinations. I’m not a big fan of crowded mountains and very commercial routes.
I like dealing with people and sharing my knowledge. I usually work as instructor in alpinism, climbing and ski courses, and first aid courses for emergencies.
My favourite climbing spots are Montserrat massif, near Barcelona, and the Pyrenees. Both are climbing paradises, and the Pyrenees also has great opportunities for ski mountaineering and alpinism.
I’ve also worked as a guide and trainer for blind people.
I love to climb and ski all around the world, meeting new people and discovering new cultures.
If you want to have a good time, getting to know new places climbing, skiing or canyoning, don’t hesitate to contact me! My life philosophy is to enjoy every moment wherever I am, and always sharing it with the people around me.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
