Description

Aid rock climbing is an activity that had its glory days before the "free climbing" development in the 70's and 80's. However, nowadays it is becoming popular again everywhere in Europe. The main goal of aid rock climbing is to progress using all aid means available. Among them nuts, studs, roosters drop and of course… aiders!

During this day or two-days trip I will help you progress on aiders and place mobile points through which you'll be able to move autonomously. You'll also learn how to estimate the reliability of the anchors and the strength of the rocks.

This aid rock climbing program can take place in Marche-les-Dames, Grands-Malades, Pont à Lesse or Freyr. If you want to join me on this course you should feel comfortable climbing on equipped walls.

If you would like to be part of this adventure please send me a request to book the trip. It will be my pleasure to help you achieve new rock climbing goals! Are you looking for more rock climbing options in Wallonia? I also guide single- and multi-pitch routes in Chaleux, Freyr, Durnal and more!

Big Thanks for making my very first rock climbing so great!

Daniel

Great trip. Ivan is an excellent guide and full of good advice to improve my climbing. Heknew just which boulders to pick to challenge me without being too hard for a first time climbing outdoors. I would recommend this experience to anybody visiting Fontainbleu, whatever your level.

Cassidy

We had a fantastic time on our guided day-tour of bouldering in Fontainebleau. I would highly recommend this experience, especially if you don't have a rental car, or if you want to maximize your limited climbing time in Fontainebleau. Our guide, Léo, was very fun and knowledgeable, helping with beta and finding interesting boulders of suitable difficulty (one girl in our group was far more advanced at climbing than the other 2 of us, and Leo was able to find bouldering areas where we could still be in close proximity to each other). He also brought some delicious homegrown strawberries from his own farm which was amazing and unexpected!
