Following the Marsyangdi river, the trail will lead all the way to its source at the glacial lake in Manang. You’ll cross many villages, walk through terraced farms and traverse a range of landscapes on your way. The trail leads to the top of Thorungla (5,416 meters), the highest point of this trip to see stunning views.

The waters of Muktinath originate from the Kali Gandaki river and the place is a much-visited and revered destination in the region. Walking past the deep gorge and the Kali Gandaki river valley, we’ll pass by the villages of Jomsom, Tatopani (hot spring) and Marpha-Tukuche to end the amazing trek.
