Description
Stevens Pass is one of the best skiing spots in the state of Washington.
Located in the Cascades mountain range, Stevens Pass receives an ample amount of snow. Thus making it ideal for skiers looking for the best powder and the best descents.
For a full day, you will get to enjoy some fantastic out of bounds ski touring. You will get to explore truly wild terrain, which will amaze you as well as thrill you.
Prior to the beginning of the trip, we will make sure to go over important safety precautions. Those precautions cover how to use your safety equipment, including your beacon, shovel and probe, as well as other important aspects. Thus ensuring your experience is not only fun, but safe as well.
Throughout Stevens Pass there are different spots you can enjoy. Those spots, which include open bowls and tree filled areas, consist of Big Chief, Cowboy Mountain and Tunnel Creek, just to name a few.
You do not have to be a back country skiing expert to enjoy this trip. However, you should have prior resort skiing experience. Furthermore, along with the ski touring, there may be some trekking involved in order to reach the best spots, so you should be in good physical condition.
