Description
I invite you to join me on this truly awesome day of backcountry skiing and snowboarding, as we traipse and travail around a wide array of uncrowded and untracked terrains and landscapes, all whilst picking up a variety of techniques to improve your experience, in the beautiful and delightful Bear Valley, California.
Located close by to the internationally renowned and famous Lake Tahoe, Bear Valley can often be overlooked for skiiers and snowboarders, resulting in the benefit of crowds not being too overwhelming, even in peak season.
Being just three hours away from the state capital, Sacramento, Bear Valley is perfect for skiiers and boarders of an intermediate to advanced level, and the conditions of the area allows for itinerary’s to be tailored easily.
Meeting nice and early in the morning, we then head off on a full day of skiing and boarding, as the numerous runs available to us mean we will never run out of powder to discover!
Some of the scenery around here has to be seen to be truly believed, as alpine forest tree glades give way to wide open bowls, scenic ridges and gorgeous, sweeping panoramic views, all adding up to a magnificently idyllic and tranquil experience.
At the end of the day we will have had a lot of fun, taken a lot in and hopefully given you some epic memories to take home with you.
