Located in Bovec, Slovenia, the Soca river is one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. Famous for its striking emerald color that never wavers throughout the river, it is a sight to behold. And on this half-day trip that will last approximately 3-5 hours, I would like to guide you on a rafting adventure on the Soca.
Starting in Bovec, we will get on the raft and hit the water. The current is strong, definitely enough for a fun time, but it is not overpowering. As a result, you do not have to worry about being a rafting expert to enjoy this trip. In fact, people as young as 8 years old can enjoy this trip. All you require is an ability to swim and a lot of enthusiasm for rafting!
Along with the joy of the rafting experience, the scenery you will get to admire is incredible. Full of natural landscape, Bovec will amaze you. And if you look up, you will surely spot several peaks standing tall in the not too distant Julian Alps.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
