Description

Sense the frosty and fresh slopes of the Rockies as we explore the Aspen backcountry during a cat skiing day.

You’ll get the opportunity to ski among endless untracked stashes on Aspen Mountain (Ajax).

Because we’ll explore the fresh backcountry powder, there will be no lifts during the day, and equally no hordes to elbow out the way to reach the thrilling runs.

To reach the distant slopes, we’ll take a luxury snowcat that will take us to the top of the quality terrain. From there, we’ll reach and explore the Rocky backcountry that is home to unbelievable scenery and quality runs.

We will meet in the morning at the Silver Queen gondola at the base of the Aspen Mountain. Once we reach the top, we’ll get beyond the ski resort via a snowcat, taking us farther and farther into the backcountry.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
