Join Belgian instructor Christophe and sail along the Calanques, a rocky coast from Marseille to Cassis. A 5-day trip to improve your rock climbing skills.

Description

An amazing and unique 5-day course to explore one of the most beautiful climbing sites in Europe: the Calanques massif. Behind the Marseilleveyre mount these small, narrow, elongated bays lie. They are surrounded by stony peaks and turquoise blue waters.

The Calanques cover the rocky coast from Marseille to Cassis and it is usually considered “a playground” for all levels of climbers. This time I want to invite you to sail the waters and find wild rock walls, according to your level. The catamaran will allow us to enjoy the idyllic atmosphere of the site and explore the most remote sides of the creeks!

This 5-day program in the Calanques will be designed depending on the experience and expectations of participants. From beginners to experts I can offer a custom trip and make you improve or learn the most important safety and progression techniques. In addition, we’ll also practice:
– Lead climbing,
– Rope climbing,
– Relaying,
– Abseiling,
– Rescue and self rescue techniques,
– Sport, long and multi-pitch route climbing with overhead crossings over the sea.

As for the requirements, all participants must prove a regular rock climbing practice and elementary experience on the cliffs.
