Description
Do you love rock climbing? Come along on this 1-day program, one-on-one, to an exceptional site for this activity: the famous Wendestöcke. A perfect way to challenge your climbing skills and take them to the next level.
This multi-summited mountain in the Bernese Oberland area is famous for its well-textured limestone, which provides perfect friction for rock climbing. One of its better known multi-pitch climbs is Excalibur, which we will explore together.
First of all, I will meet you at Lucerne or Meiringen to begin this 1-day program. Next, we will start our approach to the wall, which can be quite tough. We will need to go across 700 vertical meters over a steep grass terrain before reaching the wall. Climbers need to bring good footwear with them.
After that first part of the program, the great challenge begins, the very heart of the program. I will lead you as we face 10 pitches in steep limestone, with several runouts. I recommend that climbers have a climbing level of 6b to 6c, in top rope.

About the guide
I have a Masters in Geology and I am an IFMGA Mountain Guide. Skiing and climbing are my greatest passions. Also, travelling has become a great fascination of mine. What I love most about it is how it always opens up new horizons and possibilities. I love going to different parts of the world, meet new friends, my ski equipment and climbing shoes always ready to go.
Even if I have been climbing and skiing for more than 20 years, I have several pending projects in mind.
