Itinerary
Day 1: Trekking in Mt. Fuji
Morning: Meet the guide at your hotel or train station in the Mt. Fuji area, such as Gotenba or Kawaguchiko, then transfer to the trailhead. Enjoy trekking with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji for 3 to 5 hours, with the option to make it shorter or longer based on your preference. You can choose to hike mountains like Mitsutouge, Kintoki, and others.
Afternoon: Return to your hotel or train station.

I'm a JMGA certified hiking and ski guide and UIMLA mountain leader. I've traveled more than 50 countries as tour guide of trekking, skiing, cycling tour. I've visited overseas mountains such as Europe Alps, Canadian Rockies, New Zealand, Patagonia. I stayed in Zermatt, Switzerland for 4 years as trekking and skiing guide.
Even I traveled many countries, I also love to walk and ski the beautiful mountains in Japan. We have distinct four seasons, volcanos, hot springs in our mountain areas.
My favorite mountain area is the North Japan Alps, Mt. Fuji and Yatsugatake mountains. Of course sake and tasty Japanese food too!

As a way to celebrate a milestone birthday, I decided to explore the beautiful country of Japan. A major highlight of this trip was the Mt. Fuji summit hike with Yuichi. It was very evident that he has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a hiking leader. Yuichi communicated in advance to help me prepare for the hike--including suggestions for nearby lodging options--and his knowledge of the trails and environment was impressive. He was professional and personable. If I had more time during this trip I would definitely hire him to explore other areas of Japan.

It was a awesome experience and I can highly recommend climbing Mt Fuji with Yuichi!! He is a very experienced guide, speaks good englisch and tried to give me the best experience possible (due to bad weather we had to reschedule).
