One of the main things you’ll learn will be how to plan and tackle the classic routes in the Dolomites. Hence, I’ll take you to different types of pitches, so you can practice everything our lessons will cover.
On our first day, I will go over homogeneous climbing techniques as well as rope maneuvers. So that day we’ll depart early in the morning from Tuscany and head to Arco di Trento. Then, we’ll follow a path of iconic ascents on the famous walls of the Valle del Sarca. We will focus on safety of the rope and the homogenization of the different phrases. Also, we’ll cover techniques of progression. And in the evening, we’ll head to Val di Fassa, where we’ll stay for the night and rest. In Val di Fassa we’ll have different options for accommodation, from camping to hotels and shelters. You’ll get to choose the option you prefer!
Then, the following two days we’ll tackle alpine routes in the Dolomites. Every day we’ll live a different adventure. And each day we’ll dedicate two moments to the briefing and debriefing of each climb. These moments will be essential to analyze and forecast the events, to point out mistakes and suggest possible solutions to them. To do so, we’ll ascend a classic route on the Torri de Sella on our second day, depending on your skills. Finally, on our third day, we’ll head to the Ciavazes Wall.
Please note that a technical level of 5c / 6a is required from the first ropes, as well a good fitness level. If you have it and wish to join this adventure, please send me a request.
If you don’t have any experience, check out this Basic rock climbing course in the Apuan Alps.

Roberto and Christian were amazing guides, very professional, and a lot of fun to hang out with on the climb and afterward.
The climb was a great introduction for newbies - I found it the perfect balance of challenging and fun! Franco is knowledgeable, patient and funny!

Our guide, Franco, was awesome! We climbed for about four hours on an easy, yet STUNNING route. The rock was a bit chossy, but we got through it fine :) Lovely day out!
This place blew my mind, it's a true Natural Waterpark and I recommend it 100%! It’s not well-known, but from now on it should be be a must when you visit Tuscany. It's located 1:30 hs from Firenze, making the Apuan Alps an amazing option for a day trip. I went up by train and Carlo, the guide, was waiting for me in the train station. I've never done a canyoning adventure before and it turned out to be the most fun I had this summer. This adventure is for all levels, if I did it anyone can! But you must not have a fear of heights and have a notion about rock climbing or rappelling. The jumps at first are a little bit scary, but there is nothing better than overcoming fears and doing it anyway! The experience ends up under a Roman bridge, and it makes everything so special. I felt super safe at all times, because our guides, Carlo and Franco, were just FANTASTIC! Just book your adventure anytime with Explore-Share and you’ll never forget it!
