Spend a day climbing with me in the beautiful Southern Limestone Alps of Slovenia!
The possibilities for outdoor adventure are endless in Slovenia, a country known for scenic alpine landscapes. The imposing mountains and picturesque valleys of the Southern Limestone Alps are the perfect backdrop for a day spent sport climbing on some excellent rock. In particular, the Julian Alps and Karawank mountains are filled with climbing spots that are guaranteed to excite you, no matter your climbing level. In fact, if you’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to see what it’s like to test yourself on a wall of natural rock, this is your chance!
I offer full day, guided climbing trips in the mountains of Slovenia. As each trip can be customized, I will use my local knowledge of the routes in the area to pick the spot best suited for your climbing level. Beginners are welcome, regardless of past experience or physical fitness. Just come with a positive attitude and a sense of adventure!
While I am happy to guide year round, fall, spring, and summer are the best seasons for climbing in the mountains. We will coordinate logistics based on your accommodation.

Mountain Guide
I was born in Ljubljana in 1988 and began climbing during high school. In 2010, I became a climbing instructor, after years of spending my free time on the walls of the Alps, both in Slovenia and abroad. I studied Geography at university, but mountaineering, climbing and now mountain guiding have always been my main occupation. I've received multiple awards, including the Piolet D'Or. I'm a fully certified IFMGA guide.

Luka was an amazing guide! He truly went above and beyond on this trip. One example: he had a significant personal event occur right before I arrived, but made sure he was available to guide me anyway. Second, one of my climbing days was far too rainy and cold sadly to continue to be alpine, so he drove with me another two hours to a site that was enjoyable and much warmer. As well I found him to be a kind coach and willing to let me try hard on routes. Looking forward to another climb with him.
