Description

Join me on a private hiking trip from Krakow to High Tatras in Slovakia!

High Tatras is a majestic mountain range in the northern part of Slovakia, approximately 150 km from Krakow forming a natural border with Poland. Its distinctive jagged peaks reach over 2,500 meters (8,200 feet) in elevation. They are the highest part of the Carpathians and are protected by the national parks on Polish and Slovak sides.

On this trip, you will discover its diverse range of hiking trails, catering to varying levels of difficulty. These trails encompass everything from easy routes, primarily leading to picturesque mountain huts, to challenging paths equipped with metal steps and chains for enhanced safety.

Departing from Krakow, this one-day excursion will start with a private car journey to the hike's starting point in the spectacular Slovak High Tatras. The route and level of difficulty will be meticulously tailored to suit the fitness and experience of your group.

We can conquer the High Tatras and explore its enchanting mountain huts at a leisurely pace or, if you feel like challenging yourself to new heights., we can also embark on a hike across passes and peaks that soar above 2000 meters (6,561 feet).

What people are saying about Pawel

This trip exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Pawel was a fantastic guide, very experienced and had an incredible knowledge of the geological features of the Gorce mountains and surrounding mountain ranges as well as the historical aspects of Polish history. As beginners to snowshoeing, Pawel was understanding and knowledgeable of the most suitable routes to take. In addition, at the beginning of the trip we presented Pawel with a problem which he resolved with empathy like a true gentleman. For that we were truly thankful. The whole trip was incredible. Memories created that we will never forget. Thank you so much!
