Mt. Yotei, an iconic volcano in central Hokkaido, is often called Ezo-Fuji—Hokkaido’s own Mt. Fuji—thanks to its striking resemblance.
As you ascend, the landscape gradually shifts from dense forests at the base to rugged, rocky terrain near the summit. Once at the top, you'll be rewarded with a stunning 360-degree panorama and a chance to explore the mountain’s impressive craters.
