It is a 3-day expedition hiking around the Rio Horcones Superior Valley until we get to Plaza Francia, where we find the famous southern rocky wall of Aconcagua. They are 3.000 meters of vertical steep and once up there, an amazing viewpoint will be waiting for you.

It is a longer trail where we add the visit at Plaza de Mulas, our base camp from where we will start all the hike up expeditions to Aconcagua Mountain.

Keep reading the details of the program.

We will be transferred to the entrance of Aconcagua National Park.

The weight of your backpacks will be of 10/12 kg. It contains personal equipment, some food and parts of the tents.

The campsites are in high places, such as Plaza de Mulas at 4.200 meters. It is a good opportunity for those who want know how the body works in the altitude.

During the short trekking you won’t feel any effect due to the altitude, may a headache or insomnia but anything else. The Southern wall of the Aconcagua is one of the wildest an most amazing landscapes of Cordillera de los Andes. From there you can really understand the dimension of the nature in relation with the human being.
