Join an AMGA-certified guide for an introductory backcountry skiing trip in Utah! You will ski some unforgettable mountains!
Join us on this 3-day backcountry ski trip in Utah! It will be an adventure for all of you avid backcountry skiers!
Utah, located in the Western region of the United States, is home to some of America’s most-boasted natural terrain, and the Wasatch Mountains, certainly explain why. The Wasatch Mountain Range stretches the entire 160 miles along the Utah-Idaho border, giving us plenty to work with over the course of 3 days. In this time, we explore a variety of slopes, ranging in inclination, grade, weather conditions, and individual skill-level.
We begin this trip going over safety provisions, in order to ensure that all of you are well-prepared and able to optimize these unkempt slops to their maximum potential. Once everyone feels well-versed in matters of safety, we spend 3 days taking advantage of all that Utah nature has to offer, all with the help of a certified guide.
This trip is intended for experienced backcountry skiers and/or splitboarders, so please keep this in mind when signing up. Each day we will be out on the slopes for a full 8-hours, so a great physical shape is necessary too.
So, if you are an avid backcountry skier, looking to conquer your next mountain range, this is the trip for you! And if you want to try ice climbing in Utah, check out our beginners trip!
