Description

This La Grave – Vallée de la Clarée off-piste snowboarding program will take you to some of the most amazing powder slopes in the French Alps!

La Grave is a small ski resort town in the southeastern Hautes Alpes province of France, almost in the border with Italy. Very close to this town is the scenic Vallée de la Clarée, a valley that follows the river with the same name, and gets packed with snow in winter.

So on this off-piste snowboarding we’ll spend a 5 days exploring this great area to find the best untouched slopes for you to ride!

First we’ll enjoy 2 days riding through La Grave. Here there is only one lift, a cable car that goes from 1400 to 3600 meters in about 30 minutes. From there on I will look for the best terrain depending on the weather conditions.

Then we’ll spend the next 3 days on a snowboarding traverse through Vallée de la Clarée, staying in cozy mountain huts and exploring great backcountry terrain.

Want to join me on this La Grave – Vallée de la Clarée off-piste snowboarding program? Send me a request now and I’ll take you on an amazing adventure you will never forget.

And if you feel you’re not ready for this kind of challenge yet, let me invite you to my Piau Engaly 2-day off-piste snowboarding course.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Martin for his exceptional planning and guidance throughout our first trip to the Alps. Not only is he an incredibly friendly and easygoing individual to be around, but he also possesses remarkable climbing skills and serves as an outstanding guide who readily imparts his mountain knowledge and passion. Martin displayed an impressive level of flexibility when it came to our itinerary. He seamlessly adjusted the route for our initial climb to align with our learning aspirations, all the while prioritizing our safety. Even when an adverse weather forecast emerged for the final two days of our journey, Martin quickly managed the situation and found alternative, equally captivating solutions that allowed us to continue our climbing pursuits, all while making consulting with us. I wholeheartedly recommend Martin to anyone looking to explore mountaineering, whether they are novices or seasoned climbers in need of a guide. Overall, our trip could not have been more rewarding, and we are undoubtedly inclined to select Martin as our guide for our future escapades!
