Join me in this exciting 2-day ascent to the iconic Lanin Volcano (3776 m), one of the highest peaks in North Patagonia!
The Lanin Volcano is located in the border between Argentina and Chile. We can climb to its summit in two days. We will start from the city of Bariloche, in the province of Neuquen in Argentina. Then, we will hike up towards its base in the outskirts of the city of Junin de los Andes.
We will spend to unforgettable days! Besides, it's not technically a difficult ascent. The first day of the trip we will drive to the base of the volcano, in the Tromen section of the Lanin National Park. Then, we will climb to the refuge. It will take us about 5 hours.
On our second day, the longest of the expedition, we will go up approximately 1500 meters, until we reach the summit. Then, we will go down again to the base of the volcano.
Contact me if you need more information about this Lanin Volcano ascent! It will be my pleasure to guide you up there. I also offer a 1-day guided hike in Bariloche. Check it out!
