Description

Discover the magic of North Patagonia in this 1-day hike in Bariloche! I invite you to join me and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the south of Argentina!

We will hike up to Mount Bella Vista (1800 m) and Mount Goye (1630 m). They are located in the surroundings of the city of Bariloche, a very popular tourist destination.

Along our hike, we will have time to stop at a couple of breathtaking viewpoints! Also, from the top we'll enjoy the sight of beautiful lakes, forests and mountains.

We will start our trek along a path that takes us to the Jakob refuge. Then, we will hike down through a different path, and we will end up our program in Colonia Suiza. This is a beautiful small village, located 25 kilometres from Bariloche.

I guarantee we will enjoy an 8-hour program with stunning 360° views along the way! Besides, you will appreciate the inmensity of the Andes and its lakes in North Patagonia. Most important, you will have the chance to hike up to the summit of two patagonian mounts!

So contact me if you want to join me in this 1-day trek in Bariloche! I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the program. And if you want to visit "the end of the world", check my 3-day trekking program in Ushuahia!

I was born and live in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world! I've been skiing since I was 2 years old, and competed as a ski athlete in a Nordic ski and Biathlon world ski championships, world cups and in the winter Olimpic Games Torino 2006

In 2007 I retired from professional competitions to focus on my guiding career. I trained on rock, ice and mixed climbing skills as well as guiding techniques and became a mountain guide in 2011 at the Argentinean Mountaineering Guides Association (AAGM). In 2017 I completed the guiding courses to become also a certified Ski Mountain Guide GEM-AAGM.

I've done a large number of technical climbs at the Darwin Range and Patagonia while many of those are new lines

Marine was a really wonderful guide and she made the 3 day trek around Tierra del Fuego a great pleasure for us. She is very knowledgable and a very professional guide. Marine also helped us with renting clothes that we needed and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we would need. I would definitely recommend this trek as well as Marine and Seba. Booking and paying through explore-share was also very easy and efficient. Thank you to all!

Sebastian was a great guide! We felt very safe and it was really fun getting to know him. We liked him so much we decided we would do a second trip while we are in town. If I ever come back to Ushuaia, I will definitely track him down for more trips

My friend and I went for a day backcountry skiing to Martial Galcier. We had a brilliant time, the guide was a champion!

Facundo was amazing! I have some climbing experience and my partner had never climbed before. Similarly, my partner speaks Spanish but I only speak English. Facundo not only guided us expertly through several routes but also taught us a lot about Ushuaia. The experience does involve a 20-30 minute hike to the climbing location so be prepared for a trek. But it was a fantastic experience and highly recommend being able to say you climbed in Patagonia :)
