  • Climb to the summit via the normal route and with the help of a via ferrata

  • Stand on the highest peak in the Italian Dolomites

  • Enjoy stunning views on the way up and from the summit

The Marmolada, or “Queen of the Dolomites” is the highest summit in this mountain range and the only one with a glacier. It is 3343 m high and lies at the frontier of Veneto and Trentino.

There are different routes to reach the summit. The west route has a via ferrata which makes it more accessible for those with less experience. However, it’s still a difficult adventure, so you must have a good physical condition!

The west route of the Marmolada is one of the most beautiful via ferrata in all of the Alps. The views while going up and from the top are really breathtaking.

This ascent takes only one day. The best time to do it is from June to September.

I will take maximum 4 people with me on the rope. If you are part of a larger group, I will ask a friend of mine, a local IFMGA mountain guide as well, to join us. Technical equipment like harness, helmet, crampons and ice axes are included in the price. Nevertheless, the price excludes ski lifts as well as other potential expenses.

Please contact me if you want to experience a great adventure in the highest mountain in the Dolomites. It will be my great pleasure to guide you there and allow you to live a nice time in this part of Italy.

About the Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients. I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering. Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal.

What People are Saying about Enrico Geremia

We had a great experience with Mr.Enrico Geremia for our via ferrata trip up Marmolada. Enrico was a friendly guide and did not compromise with any of the safety equipment. We felt secure all the while with Enrico. We would certainly recommend our friends who have plans to hike the Dolomites in the future to use this platform :)
