Join us on a climbing day trip and discover a wonderful crag with single-pitch routes in Monte Lieto (1016 m), in the heart of the Apuan Alps in Tuscany.

The Apuan Alps mountains are made up from all kinds of limestone, offering a wide range of interesting activities. Monte Lieto lies in the southern sector of the Apuan Alps, in the lowest part of the region.

A certified guide from our team will take you on this climbing day. We can meet at about 9 a.m in Camaiore, a city within the province of Lucca, near Pisa, in central-western Italy. If you need equipment, please let us know before we meet and I will provide you with helmet, harness and climbing shoes.

Monte Lieto was considered a sacred mountain by ancient populations. Today we have the possibility of spending an unforgettable day climbing on excellent limestone, on any of its near 80 routes.

What people are saying about Prorock

Isaac

Roberto and Christian were amazing guides, very professional, and a lot of fun to hang out with on the climb and afterward.

The climb was a great introduction for newbies - I found it the perfect balance of challenging and fun! Franco is knowledgeable, patient and funny!

Our guide, Franco, was awesome! We climbed for about four hours on an easy, yet STUNNING route. The rock was a bit chossy, but we got through it fine :) Lovely day out!

This place blew my mind, it's a true Natural Waterpark and I recommend it 100%! It’s not well-known, but from now on it should be be a must when you visit Tuscany. It's located 1:30 hs from Firenze, making the Apuan Alps an amazing option for a day trip. I went up by train and Carlo, the guide, was waiting for me in the train station. I've never done a canyoning adventure before and it turned out to be the most fun I had this summer. This adventure is for all levels, if I did it anyone can! But you must not have a fear of heights and have a notion about rock climbing or rappelling. The jumps at first are a little bit scary, but there is nothing better than overcoming fears and doing it anyway! The experience ends up under a Roman bridge, and it makes everything so special. I felt super safe at all times, because our guides, Carlo and Franco, were just FANTASTIC! Just book your adventure anytime with Explore-Share and you’ll never forget it!
