This exciting 2-day climb will take you to the top of Punta Gnifetti, where the famous Margherita Hut is located at an altitude of 4,554 meters (14,941 ft). Plus, on the way, we can explore some of the other 4000-meter peaks that Monte Rosa is famous for!
We will start our tour from Gressoney, and from there, we will access one of the intermediate huts in the Monte Rosa massif. The following day, after an early breakfast, we will set off to the Gniffeti summit, and explore other 4000m peaks on the way. Reaching the Margherita Hut will be our ultimate goal, and we will enjoy the scenic views from this emblematic hut, which is the highest building in Europe. Then, we will return to Gressoney.
Keep in mind that Monte Rosa is an excellent massif to explore if you are fit but don't have much mountaineering experience. It offers just the right amount of challenge and altitude, especially if you are aiming for more challenging goals in the future. Therefore, all you need is to have a good fitness level and a sense of adventure. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.

Mountain Guide
I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of climbing and the freedom of the outdoors. My journey began on a bike, exploring remote corners of the world, and evolved into a passion for endurance sports like triathlons and ultra-distance mountain running.
With a Master’s degree in Forestry Science and professional experience as a Lab Manager across Europe, I eventually decided to turn my lifelong passion into a career. Becoming a Mountain Guide was the answer and allowed me to live by the rhythm of the mountains and share my love for adventure with others.
I now guide year round — ski touring, freeride, and ice climbing in winter; mountaineering, rock climbing, hiking, and trail running through the warmer months.
Each person’s ambitions are unique, and I design custom programs to match every client’s goals, experience, and dreams.
Whether it’s a one-day climb, a technical face, or a multi-day expedition, I’m here to help you reach it — Let’s go find your next adventure!
