Description

The Eiger (3,967m) is the easternmost mountain in an amazing set of peaks in the Bernese Alps. Joining Monch (4,107m) and Jungfrau (4,158m), together these 3 mountains create a powerful emblem of the Swiss Alps.

The purpose of this trip will be to reach the summit of Eiger. We will climb up the mountain’s gorgeous North face also known as the Eigerwand or Nordwand. 2 days may seem brief to climb a mountain of this magnitude. However, I can assure you that you will enjoy every minute of those days. And when you reach the summit, the view will leave you breathless.

There is so much to see from the top of this amazing mountain. Aside from the Monch and Jungfrau mountains, you will also get to see the Finsteraarhorn (4,270m) and the Aletschhorn (4,190m). You will also get to see other incredible sights that include the Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen valleys. You can also see the largest glacier in the Alps, the Aletsch glacier.

With so much to see from the largest north face in the Alps, climbing the Eiger is certainly a memorable climb. And because you can do it in only 2 days, it will still give you a lot of time and energy to explore the rest of the Bernese Alps if you so desire.

Please contact me if you are interested in joining me on this amazing trek.

If you want to explore another area of the Swiss Alps, I can also guide you to the summit of the Bishorn in the Pennine Alps.
