Description

On this 1-day Mount Fuji snow climb, you will have the chance to experience an uncrowded ascent in unique conditions of Japan's most symbolic mountain.

During May and June, right before the crowds arrive at Mount Fuji, this beautiful peak glitters under clear weather, welcoming well-trained climbers that dare to explore its snow-capped slopes. Due to the snow and because the huts are closed, the mountain is uncrowded, which allows off-season visitors to enjoy its unique views and beauty all the more.

To accomplish the Fuji summit, we will spend the night before the climb at the Mount Fuji base so that we can get an early start. We will reach the summit in the afternoon and then return.

Climbing Mount Fuji in the off-season is more challenging than in the summer months. Therefore, it is important to be properly trained and to go with a certified guide that can evaluate the route and conditions. The rewards are well worth the effort!

If you would like to join us on this exciting Mount Fuji off-season snow climb, then all you need to do is send us a request to begin planning this experience together! We look forward to guiding you!

We didn’t make it up Fuji because of the typhoon rains and winds, but we were given alternate accommodations, and the experience was still amazing :). (We made it between 7 and 8 when we decided to turn around)

It was a fantastic experience! The Fujinomiya trail is bit challenging but yet it is the shortest ascend with spectacular view. Both guides (Rico and Bali) are caring and supportive. They made sure everyone in the group kept up a good pace. I am glad I had joined this tour. It is highly recommended for a first time hiker or someone who would like to climb Mt. Fuji Fujinomiya trail.

Our guide BARLY was outstanding. He was experienced and had a clear appreciation of Mount Fuji. Everybody seemed to know him on the mountain. He gave us invaluable advice and one of our party, after discussing with him decided to cut his own rope 1,000 meters from the summit. It was a captain’s call for the team from Sydney.
