This national park has four valleys and a central mountain massif. And it’s one of the most interesting and unique places in the Pyrenees. The views here, its flora and fauna, and the pristine and deep layer of snow that covers these lands every year, make it the perfect place for splitboarding.
If you decide to venture into this beautiful place with me, I promise I’ll take you to spots that will take your breath away. You’ll be surrounded by dense forests, transparent rivers and charming prairies. You’ll also reach gentle ascents and vertiginous ones. And of course, you’ll enjoy the best powder snow!
Moreover, I want you to have fun and be safe at the same time. That is why we’ll follow all the safety rules needed. We’ll also set the itinerary based on your skill level and the things you wish to do. For instance, if you are an expert snowboarder, I’ll take you to some challenging spots. And if you are a beginner, we’ll go to places where you can practice at a more comfortable pace.
If you are interested in this trip, you can find a more detailed itinerary below with some highlights of places we can visit each day. However, keep in mind, that it can change for circumstances out of my control. Or we can modify things based on your requests.
So send me a request, and let’s explore the Monte Perdido and Ordesa National Park. I’ll gladly guide you through this magnificent place in the Pyrenees.

We will begin our trip in Gavarnie, France. Then, we’ll head to the Sarradets refuge. Although Sarradets is fully serviced in spring, please note that during winter we’ll have to bring our own food.
On this day we’ll cross from France to Spain. We can splitboard across the Brecha de Roland, a stunning mountain pass. If you want to try an easier route, I can take you to the Taillon peak (3,144 m). And if you choose this option we can snowboard down from its summit. But, if you want something more challenging, we can go for the Taillon and then the Casque peak (3,006 m). On both options, we’ll reach the Goriz refuge to spend there the night.
We will depart from Goriz early, so we spend the whole day splitboarding up and down Monte Perdido (3,355 m). And for the expert snowboarders we can also go to Torre de Marboré/Gavarnie (3,009 m). Finally, we’ll spend the night at Goriz again.
On our last day, we’ll return from Goriz to Gavarnie. We will splitboard across through Gabietos, so we can close a circular circuit

The story begins when your parents put you the skis when you are still wearing diapers, when you discover every summer the lakes of the Pyrenees, and after that you start going for the summits. When climbing and the feeling of freedom that comes with it gets you hooked, and there's nothing you can do about it.
It continues when you choose your career following the name: Technical Mountain Engineering, in Lleida, close to the Pyrenees, and you start working as a ski instructor during weekends. And year after year, trip after trip, run after run, you start getting together with young mountaineers, and closer to the formation as a mountain guide.
Expeditions, trips, some award and the constant formation and evolution are what built this long journey, which allows me to share the world that I love with others. And thanks to the works as a guide I can enjoy everything: the great moments that the mountain gave me, in the snow, rock or ice, and above all the moving feeling of realizing how small we are in the immensity of the summits.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
