Description

Do you want to live an unforgettable climbing experience? Then join me on the 3-day Nevado Urus (5495 m) expedition!

The Urus peak is located in the northern side of the Ishinca gorge, in the Cordillera Blanca. It's one of the classic climbing routes on this mountain range in Peru.

Also, it's a great acclimatization climb for reaching higher goals or more difficult technical levels. You don't need any previous climbing experience to join this tour.

I propose a 3-day program in which you'll enjoy incredible landscapes while climbing. Also, amazing views of others peaks such as Ishinca, Tocllaraju and Akilpo.

We will meet in the city of Huaraz. From there, we will drive to Cochapamapa where our donkey driver will be waiting for us. And then, we will start our hike until we reach Base Camp.

On the second day, at 3 am, we will start our hike up to the summit, by a steep ridge. We will enjoy spectacular views from the top of the mountain. Finally, on the last day, we will return to Huaraz. You can check the detailed itinerary below this text.

So contact me if you are interested in climbing Nevado Urus! I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the program. You can as well check my Nevado Ishinca 3-day guided ascent. It's also a good acclimatization climb.

What people are saying about Octavio

Octavio wss injured and we ended up with Hector instead. He is new, but is very friendly and hard working. I would acclimatize more than the stated 3 days at one of the lagoons if you want to increase your chance at success. Communication was lacking a little prior to the trip with no contact until the day before the trip. Overall the crew was great and went above and beyond my expectations.

Where to start, the personal touch, the enjoyment, the focus on the client and safety. A truly enjoyable experience with both brothers. The only bad thing I would say is that the experiences have to come to an end. They have made our honeymoon truly memorable and I wouldn’t change a moment. I would highly recommend using andeanpeaks.com if you want a safe and enjoyable experience with well trained, likeable, friendly, personal and experienced guides. I cannot praise enough. Thank you so so much
