Description

Cap off your trip to San Francisco with a savory ascent of the Beaver Street Wall in Corona Heights! This guided half-day program is a rare opportunity to climb outdoor rock in the city, with great trad and top rope routes to keep you busy for a few hours in the major urban center of Northern California!

Located in the Corona Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, the Beaver Street Wall is a satisfying rockface to get your fill of thrilling ascents. Known for its glassy texture and compelling climbs, you can trad in some places and even top rope. The challenging lines from a few exclusive routes make for a perfect day of testing your mettle and improving your skills without leaving an iconic Californian city.

Your program is designed to give you access to one of the premiere outdoor climbing spots in the city and its incredible skyline views. If you have a strong foundation of climbing skills, I can take you along the rugged routes and daring climbs that make Beaver Street Wall an absolute must for urban-dwelling alpinists.

We will begin early, deferring to the best weather, and spend a few hours heading up and around the obstacles of this elaborate wall. Handholds, footholds, and most grips can be in short supply as you make your way on the rock, so be prepared for some serious obstacles. With some luck and sweat, we will reach the top, where stunning panoramas of Northern California’s historic beacon await.

My experience and local knowledge will ensure we have a safe, satisfying, and all around fun time getting accustomed to one of San Francisco’s best outdoor climbing areas. You should come with ample experience and readiness for challenges. Strong physical fitness is recommended for this program.

For intrepid top ropers and trad climbers, you can reach the set up via a staircase if you don’t feel comfortable scrambling and traversing mud and grass. This can come in handy when climbing after a rainstorm.

Book your unforgettable outdoor rock climbing experience in San Francisco NOW and spend a half-day climbing the Beaver Street Wall in Corona Heights to reap the reward of a well-deserved skyline vista!

We can also hike Mount Baldy, near Los Angeles.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
