Explore the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains and their world-class resorts on a once-in-a-lifetime heliskiing program out of Little Cottonwood Canyon! This guided tour through Utah’s most iconic snowscapes seamlessly blends access and scenery for the ultimate day of skiing!
Set in the snow-savvy culture in and around Park City, Utah, Little Cottonwood Canyon is an amalgamation of the region’s very best skiing. With top tier resorts like Alta and Snowbird at the backdoor, it should come as no surprise that even the most grizzled veterans seek out the Wasatch Mountains for at least one life-changing ski trip.
Your heliskiing trip will give you all of this, including unrestrained access to the hardest to reach places throughout the mountains. You can enjoy a private ski vacation with close friends, enjoy a more personalized instruction, and blaze your own trail through the delectable Utah snow. The options are endless, and thanks to the generous snowpack, you will always have plenty of fresh powder to ski.
You can expect an early start to the program, getting to the mountains in time for up to ten exciting runs over the course of a day. We will return in the afternoon, but your adventure doesn’t have to end there. We can plan some extra hours of heliski access, or we can strap up again the following day and repeat the fun – without repeating the runs. Glade runs and tree-lined routes are just the beginning to the backcountry. Alpine bowls and steep ridges will keep a smile on your face each time we fly out.
This program is designed for capable skiers who are comfortable in the backcountry. Heliskiing will place us into diverse terrain, so previous experience is a must to safely enjoy the trip.

Poor service from Explore-share! The vendor who provided the actual tour shared with Explore-share that heavy rains prevented them from doing a substantial section of the tour. I was not notified. The vendor also offered a substantial discount for what we were able to do and this was not shared with me either!

Neil was our guide and he was amazing! We did Camelback mountain climbing and he knew all about it and the other nearby mountains. Lots of great info and fun. I took my two boys, 9 and 11 years old plus climbed myself (44 years old). So perfect for all ages and skill levels. Definitely worth doing!!!

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
