Description
The alpine area of Crystal Mountain stands in the far north-western region of the United States, and is the largest in the area.
Located along the Cascade Range of Washington state, close to Seattle, the backcountry presents fantastic skiing opportunity.
So forget those lift lines and dawdling crowds, and join professional guides for some spectacular rides far beyond the swarm of skiers as we head into the wild and remote backcountry of Crystal Mountain.
Discover wide-open bowls, amazing glades, and steep chutes, creating a tailor-made itinerary designed towards your own level of skill, ability and experience.
We will optimise your vertical and find the best stacks of snow available on the Washington slopes.
Depending on your desire, we will begin our early morning journey with a long lift ride to the top of the system, or at the base of Crystal Mountain.
Then we will tour towards Silver Basin and Bullion Basin, or head in the direction of the Morse Creek area, which offers amazing skiing terrain. Crystal Mountain offers diverse and varied terrain that ensures rides for strong intermediates to eager experts.
This sets the greatest backdrop to the curriculum, which includes how to use a transceiver, environmental awareness, the use of skins, terrain assessment and an introduction to avalanche evaluation.
