Description

Welcome to Norway and its northern Romsdal and Sunnmore regions. It’s no suprise that expansive snowy mountains pepper this nothern location, but have you ever thought to combine a skiing trip with some sailing?

We are heading about 500km north of Norway’s capital Oslo. You can fly into the city of Molde (in Romsdal), to reach the regions of Romsdal and Sunnmore.

Our transport and accomodation for the trip will be a boat and this provides a unique method for accessing ski spots. We will be able to reach mountainsides, ski fields and couloirs that would otherwise be unattinable!

Not to mention the Fjords, islands and beautiful coastline we will be enjoying!

Imagine waking up and looking out your nautical window onto the winter mountains. Coming up on deck for breakfast before heading ashore for a day of touring and carving up the snow!

Then you’ll head back to the boat for a deserved dinner and drink whilst you watch the scenery change around you.

Then the next day you wake up to a different but equally spectacular view and spend another day in the pristine wilderness!

We will be travelling on the Framstig, a typical and traditional Scandanavian vessel with beautiful wooden interior and furnishings.

Life on the boat is narrow and cozy! It’s a good way to build a fun group atmosphere and comradery, but you should be respectful of other’s limited private space.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned skier, I will shape this trip to meet your needs so that you can make the most of these epic landscapes and gorgeous mountain runs.

If you love ski touring in remote locations with deep powder snow, if you would enjoy crusing on a yacht around stunning Fjords and islands, if you want to join a certified, experieced and enthusiastic guide…. then sign up now because this is a trip not to be missed!

Perhaps you like to experience some ski touring in Italy, well check out this amazing 4-day ski touring trip in the stunning Dolomite mountain range!

Mountain Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients.

I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering.

Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal. I work with other mountain guides in the Veneto area, such as Filippo, Massimo, and my brother Daniele. If I am unavailable on the date you are interested in coming climbing, skiing, or engaging in other activities with me, I can connect you with one of them.

Enrico was an amazing guide!!! My husband and I tackled via ferrata Punta Anna in Cortina which was challenging and exciting. Enrico was very responsive and communicative upfront, detailing the route and what we could expect. On the day of he was an excellent instructor, supportive and patient. He helped us have the best possible time out on our first via ferrata in the Dolomites. He took a ton of photos and videos during our outing which he shared with us afterwards. When we mentioned we would be in the area for another week, he went above and beyond and gave us his recommendations for the best hikes in the area. They were spot on! We would highly recommend using Enrico as a mountain guide!!

Our guide Filippo was fantastic. We insisted on exploring the Delle Trincee which turned out to be outside the ability of our group. Filippo was patient and fun and helped us traverse several sections that matched our ability while keeping our spirits high. The equipment was excellent, the communication with the outfitter was excellent. If you're looking for a guide to help you explore the Dolomites, we had a great experience with Enrico and his team.

We had the most amazing via ferrata experience in Cortina! This was our first time in Cortina and first time doing a via ferrata. Enrico was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable of the area and was also very attentive to safety. We had such a fun time and would recommend him and explore share to all of our friends!

3 stars Marmolada is due to weatherconditions. Lack of new snow. Enrico found good snow in parts of the glacier. 5 stars to him. Before we went up to the glacier, Enrico took us for a testride offpiste to see if we would be able to ski difficult conditions. Very good.

To be honest we are very disappointed. We signed up for the day of free ride on Marmolada but Enrico wisely said the snow conditions were not conducive for doing that. He offered to do other activities (specifically ski touring) but that is not what we paid for or signed up for, and did not want to do that. Since he offered “alternative activities” it appears we lose 100% of the cost per Explore-Share policy. This is extremely unfair. Enrico seemed like a good guy and probably a very good guide, but I would NOT recommend Explore Share to anyone! Terrible experience for an expensive day.
